Hifdh-ul-Quran Academy is a full-time program held at the Islamic Organization of the Southern Tier. Students will learn how to recite the Qur'an correctly and memorize new material each day. Our goal is for students to finish memorizing the entire Qur'an.

To enroll in the Hifdh-ul-Qur'an Academy, you will first submit an online interest form application. Once received, you will be contacted by someone from our team and will meet with us in person for an interview. Once completed, the applicant will be sent a link to the school portal where they can finalize their enrollment, submit the necessary paperwork and fees, and begin attending classes. contact our organization and inquire about the enrollment process.

The duration of the Hifdh-ul-Qur'an varies from student to student. It depends on factors such as the student's dedication, memorization abilities, and the time they can allocate to study. On average, it can take anywhere from 2 to 4 years to complete the memorization of the entire Quran.

The timings of the Hifdh-ul-Qur'an are from 9 AM to 1:30 PM Monday thru Friday. There will be a small break in the middle for students to have a snack and enjoy each other's company.

At 1:30 PM, students will be picked up from the masjid, and then will proceed to go home and complete their academics. This can be done either with parents homeschooling their children or via online instruction. IOST has partnered with Bayaan Academy to provide academics to those who wish from 2 PM to 4 PM.

Students will also be asked to memorize daily at home and spend around 1 to 1.5 hours in the evening memorizing Qur'an. The more a student memorizes, the faster they will be able to complete the memorization of the entire Qur'an, inshallah.

The IOST Hifdh-ul-Qur'an Academy follows a 12 month calendar. However, we do give students a break during all federal holidays, and Islamic holidays, and a small break during the summer. Please click here to see the full calendar.

Currently, IOST is accepting applications for boys only, ages 7 plus. Once there is interest from girls, we will inshallah start a girls' Hifdh-ul-Qur'an program as well. We do accept students on a case-by-case basis, once IOST has seen a commitment from the student and parent. For students who are adults and wish to memorize the Qur'an, we also encourage them to submit the interest form and meet with us to learn more.

After completing the Hifdh-ul-Qur'an, you will have the honorable achievement of having memorized the entire Quran. The IOST will inshallah give the student a certificate and diploma. You can continue to practice and refine your recitation skills and deepen your understanding of the Quranic teachings. Inshallah the IOST plans to offer higher Islamic education as well once the Hifdh-ul-Qur'an Academy is up and running.

** Please note that anything listed above is subject to change without any notice. More details about the program will be given inshallah in our orientation and interviews.
