Purify your fast and help those in need celebrate Eid. Sadaqatul Fitr is obligatory for every Muslim who possesses food beyond their needs.
- Who Should Pay?
- The head of household pays for all dependents
- Must be paid before Eid prayer for it to count as Sadaqatul Fitr
- If paid after Eid prayer, it becomes regular charity (sadaqah)
- Helps ensure every Muslim can enjoy Eid celebrations
