We kindly request you to arrive promptly for your designated prayer time and leave immediately afterwards to facilitate the arrival of the next group. Quran Competition What is the date and time of the Qur’an Competition? The Qur’an Competition is scheduled for Saturday, March 22, 2025. Specific timing details will be communicated closer to the event date. Mark your calendars for this exciting opportunity to showcase your Qur’anic recitation! Who can participate in the Qur’an Competition? The competition is open to boys and girls ages 5 and above. Additionally, adults are welcome to join under Group D. Participants from lower age groups are encouraged to join higher groups if they feel confident. We welcome everyone to join this enriching experience! What Surahs will be recited during the competition? Participants will be reciting the following Surahs based on their age groups:Group A (Ages 5–8 years): Surah AadiyaatGroup B (Ages 8–10 years): Surah A’laaGroup C (Ages 11–15 years): Surah NabaGroup D (All Ages): Surah Hujuraat No matter your age or experience level, there’s a category for everyone, and we look forward to hearing your recitation! Who are the judges for the competition? The competition will be judged by a panel of esteemed individuals:Imam Sofian Mayet: (Imam, IOST)Imam Shaker Ali: (IQRA Cultural Center Imam)Ustadh Ahmad Mohammad: (IOST Qur’an Teacher)Br. These criteria will help you understand what is expected while providing a pathway to enhance your skills! Are there any prizes for the winners? Yes, there will be exciting prizes awarded:1.
