Spring Carnival & Expo Summary

The IOST Spring Carnival & Expo, held on Saturday, May 17, 2025, was a vibrant community event celebrating the arrival of warm weather. The event drew over 700 attendees and featured a wide array of attractions, including rides such as bungee jumping, bounce houses, and giant slides. A lively bazaar showcased approximately 30 vendors offering diverse goods, including food (smash burgers, grilled chicken, Carvel ice cream), clothing, plants, and baked goods from local bakeries. Real estate businesses also participated. Unique offerings included free haircuts. The event was made possible by the dedication of 30 volunteers who assisted with setup and cleanup, demonstrating strong community involvement. While the event resulted in a small financial loss, its primary objective was to foster community engagement, a goal that was successfully achieved through the diverse offerings and family-friendly atmosphere. The event continued to grow year over year, promising an even greater impact in the future.
