Three structured tracks tailored to varying levels of proficiency. Choose the path that aligns best with your current skill level and preparation.

Reading Track

Focus on beautiful recitation and Tajweed directly from the Mushaf. Contestants read assigned Surahs with proper pronunciation and melody.

Hifdh (Beginner)

A starting point for those new to memorizing these Surahs. Perfect for students beginning their Hifz journey.

Hifdh (Advanced)

A challenge for those who have already mastered the basics. Test your memorization of longer and more complex Surahs.

Choose your appropriate track and compete with confidence. Clear guidelines ensure fairness, integrity, and equal opportunity for all participants.

Track Selection

Participants may only compete in one track (either Beginner or Advanced) for their respective age group.

Previous Winners

Previous first-place winners in the Beginner track must compete in the Advanced track for their age group.

Judging Criteria

Participants will be judged on Memorization (Hifdh), Tajweed (Rules of Recitation), and Fluency.

Fair Play

All participants are expected to demonstrate Islamic etiquette throughout the event.

Beginner: Al-Asr
Advanced: Al-Ma'un

Ages 7–9

Beginner: Surah Al-Inshirah
Advanced: Last 3 Ayahs of Al-Baqarah

Ages 10–12

Beginner: Ayat-Ul-Kursi
Advanced: Surah Al-Qiyamah

Ages 13–15

Beginner: Surah Al-Layl
Advanced: Al-Kahf (First 10 & Last 10 Ayahs)

AGES 16+ (ADULTS)

Each word stretched correctly, nasal sounds (Ghunnah), and rules applied

Fluency

Reading Surahs with no mistakes, smoothly and fluently without hesitation

Nice tone and melody — beautify and embellish the recitation
